In order to fully appreciate the splendour of the Arabian Sea and its seemingly endless horizon, we travel to Gokarna’s major beach during the golden hour. We arrive at Belekan beach, where we start our hike, after freshening ourselves. Paradise Beach, also known as full moon beach, is part of our journey itinerary. In addition to being quite clean, this beach is beautiful because of its surreal beauty. This beach instantly transforms into a trekker’s heaven because the only ways to get there are by trekking or hiring a boat.

As we continue on our journey, we eventually arrive at Half Moon Beach. This beach is for you if you enjoy hanging out in hammocks or being courageous enough to stand at the edge of a cliff.

We keep an eye out for sunset as the sun steadily descends toward the horizon during the course of our journey. Regardless of how many stunning sunsets you have seen, Om Beach has one that is definitely deserving of a longing. Kudle Beach’s diverse cuisine can titillate your taste buds if you’re a foodie.

How to reach Gokarna :

The optimum time is from October through March.While travelling during a monsoon may be a little more challenging, fewer visitors would be present.

By train:

which stops at the Gokarna Road station (GOK) : From Mumbai, there are two direct trains that go to Gokarna Road.

By Air:

The closest airport is Goa Airport (Dabolim), from where you may take a taxi or a bus to Gokarna.

By Bus:

Madangeri is the final station for buses. You can either rent a cab or catch another bus to the main bus station in Gokarna.

If your vacation is last-minute announced, reserve a seat on the Pune ERS Superfast Express (22150) overnight train.you will boarding the train in Karwar, take a rickshaw to the closest bus stop (15 minutes), then board a bus to Ankola (1 hour), after which board to another bus to Gokarna Main Bus Stand (45 minutes), and finally walk to the hostel. Phew!

  • Additional Set of Clothes

  • A fresh napkin or little towel

  • Sunscreen, a scarf, a hat, etc.

Temperature

Gokarna , India can vary throughout the year depending on the season. During the summer months of March to May, temperatures can reach up to 35°C, during the winter months from  December to February, temperature can drop to as low as 20°C.

Avoid wearing priceless jewellery when trekking in Sahyadri Rangers are not liable for any losses resulting from the use of such items.

It is against the law to swim in the ocean.

There is no mobile service in the area.

Liquor and other alcoholic substances cannot be consumed. Illegal substances of any type cannot be carried. Smoking is categorically prohibited. Anyone caught smoking or drinking alcohol will be kicked out of the event without a refund.
